Rap-Up is the first nationwide hip-hop and R&B magazine for Gen Y. Founded in 2001, the full-color, glossy publication has featured some of music's biggest stars including Janet Jackson, T.I., Nelly, Beyonce', Destiny's Child, Ludacris, Lil' Kim, Pharrell, Toni Braxton, Daddy Yankee, and Nick Cannon. The design-oriented title is available at Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Safeway, Tower Records, Books-A-Million, B. Dalton, Bookstar, Hastings, and other newsstands/bookstores.
Rap-Up has appeared on CNN, ABC News, VH1, and mtvU. It has been featured in newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, USA WEEKEND, GRAMMY Magazine, Entrepreneur, Folio, Fast Company, The Daily News of Los Angeles, and more.
In 2006, the magazine was nominated for "Best New Consumer Publication" at the prestigious 55th Annual Maggie Awards.
